{We removed the carpeting, installed wide plank pine flooring, painted the drywall, & added a statement light fixture. In the works: new doors/windows, new track lighting reupholstering the chair, & adding an ottoman.}

{We took out the closet since it was the first thing you walked right into when you entered the house. The tile was removed and replaced with hardwood flooring. In the works: new entrance rug.}

{We removed the brick fireplace & replaced it with a natural local Vermont stone for a cozier, ski-lodge feel by taking it all the way to the ceiling. We reused the mantle, which is a solid piece of wood.}

{We closed off the extra doorway to the kitchen since it made the flow of the home confusing. Steve inherited the mirrored hutch which fits perfectly at the entrance.}
